Jessie Bao is an experienced and accomplished piano teacher
and pianist who is about to complete her B.Mus at the Australian Institute of
Music in the area of composition and production. She received her AmusA in 2009
at the young age of 17, and has since taught students of all ages and levels.
Jessie teaches students who are wanting to learn/prepare for AMEB exams, play for leisure or simply for the love of it. She is a willing and patient teacher who can ensure you achieve your piano playing goals whilst adapting her teaching methods to suit the student’s ability and level. When teaching young beginners, Jessie focuses on ensuring students have a solid foundation to build on. She holds the philosophy that music is a universal language and through teaching she is able to share something she is truly passionate about.
Lessons are normally held in English to ensure musical terms and theory are in line with the Australian school and AMEB music standards, however Jessie is able to also communicate with people in conversational Chinese.
