About the All Age Music School Network



All Age Music School is not based upon the traditional model of being located in one location or suburb. From its origin of Sydney, there are gifted music teachers and musicians who have been chosen to join our growing team of professional teachers based on their personality, expertise and ability. This gives students of all ages, the opportunity and accessibility to learn from the very best within your area. With our teachers and teaching studios currently based in Sydney's Inner West, North Shore, Eastern suburbs, St George, Ryde and city fringe areas, All Age Music School will continue to grow and expand it's network of professional teachers, instruments and locations.  We're trying to make it easier for you to travel and learn from one of our great teachers All Age Music School strives to provide the very best in music tuition services by individually tailoring the lessons to suit each student's needs whilst implementing specialised music programs, performance opportunities, ensemble experience and teaching methods that deliver clear results. It's important that for each enrollee, we take the extra time to learn about their objectives, abilities and desires, so that we can establish with the respective teacher the best approach for learning.  We're here to teach you music for whatever reason it may be There are many reasons why people learn music; brain development, fun/leisure, AMEB grades, school, co-ordination, de-stressing, creative outlets, auditions, song-writing, performance, exams, professional industry interest and more. By encompassing instrumental, aural and music theory into each lesson, All Age Music School maintains a well-rounded music education program for its students.  We give you the opportunity to gain performance experience Studio concerts are organised and promoted to give students the opportunity to showcase their abilities and pieces learnt through-out the year to loved ones and friends. From classical to contemporary music, the concerts play a significant part in building confidence amongst our students.  All Age Music caters for:

MORE INFO:Andrea Ng has been a professional violinist and violist for almost a decade, and has accompanied with some of the world’s most respected musician. At the very young age of 6, she began learning the violin and switched to viola at the age of 12 under such renowned tuition scheme of the Singapore Youth Orchestra and was brought under the tutelage of Guan Qi, the associate principal of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. By the year 2002, Andrea at the age of 16 became the viola principal of the Singapore Youth Orchestra. She then led the viola section in numerous concerts and was invited to play at one of the President’s function at the Istana in the same year.

Being a versatile performer/teacher, and having incomparable knowledge and passion in music has led her to many achievements. In 2003, Andrea took her Grade 8 ABRSM viola exam and obtained a high distinction score of 141 out of 150. As she was the highest scorer for viola in that exam and right after that she was invited to play in the High Scorer’s concert that very same year. In the year 2004, she auditioned for the Asian Youth Orchestra and was offered a place to play in AYO’s 2004 season. From 2006- 2009, she studied music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music as a viola major. In 2008 and 2009 after worldwide auditions she was selected to be a member of Pacific Music Festival. There she worked with the world’s top musicians, members of the Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Philharmonic and principal players of major orchestras in the USA and Japan. Her teachers include Reiner Schmidt, Jeremy Williams and Jane Hazelwood. Andrea has also taken part in masterclasses with the Grainger and Borodin String Quartets. In September 2009 Andrea was part of the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra Europe tour. Andrea also freelances with her quartet playing at various weddings, functions and corporate events around Sydney.

Andrea is passionate about teaching and she has been a dedicated violin and music teacher since 2002. Her enthusiasm will provide a solid foundation for every student wanting to learn music. She often viewed as someone who wants to serve humanity and who will give individuals of all ages the gift of talent and fine character through excellent music education.
